FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Family Style Food Festival takes place at LA State Historic Park on September 28th.

  • Backpacks, blankets, umbrellas, strollers, and professional cameras are allowed into Family Style, as well as empty water bottles under 40 ounces. No outside food or drinks will be permitted. Empty water bottles are permitted and you may refill your water bottle at any of the water filling stations. Definitely bring your appetite. Restricted items: Weapons and other dangerous materials; alcoholic beverages (they’ll be inside the Festival); drugs, including marijuana, its derivatives, and paraphernalia.

  • Yes, each ticket is single-use, but is transferable, so as long as your new ticket recipient has the QR code associated with the ticket at check-in, they will be fine.

  • Tickets sale are final. If you have a specific request please email info@familystylefest.com

  • Kids 12 years old and under get free entry. Legal ID with their Date of Birth will be required.

  • No pets are allowed. Only certified service animals with proper credentials are allowed.

  • While recreational use is allowed in California, this is not a licensed cannabis event. So please use your best discretion to ensure you are adhering to local law regarding marijuana.

  • Only VIP tickets come with complimentary food. Details are provided in your ticket description

  • We recommend rideshare, but people can always park in nearby street parking or paid lots.

    • 414 E. Commercial St. Los Angeles, CA

    • Park at Union Station and take Metro A Line (Blue Line). Exit at the Chinatown stop.

    Parking lots are suggestions and are not affiliated with Family Style.

  • Not specifically at the entrance. But please feel free to reach out to any of our friendly event staff, and we will be sure to provide you with special assistance to ensure all members of your party have a great time!

  • Yes, we will have plenty of Vegan options. Other dietary accommodations will be limited to what each vendor is able to provide.

  • Via our Gift Shop at the event.

    • Can I purchase the merch beforehand?

      • No :/

    • Will it be available to purchase after the event?

      • Not everything will be available, but check our website post-event to shop any leftovers items.

  • No re-entry allowed.

  • Yes. We will have QR codes printed on signs around the entryway that will link to online ticketing. They can be purchased on your phone while you are standing in line by visiting www.familystylefest.com

  • At the VIP Check-in booth where you will receive your credentials. While we do our best to ensure sufficient quantities for all sizes, sizing will ultimately be subject to availability.

  • There will be waters available for free and for purchase at select stations and bars.

  • We will have a metal detector at the door. There will be onsite security personnel at all points of entry as well as scattered throughout the show floor. The safety of our community is a high priority.

  • Masks are still encouraged for the safety of the vendors, event staff, and other guests per the CDC and LA Public Health guidelines.

    • Are you checking vaccination cards?

      • No, we will not be checking for vaccination cards at the event.

  • Yes, EMT’s are located by the check-in booth.

  • Yes, we have a line-up of amazing DJs throughout the whole event.
